Disclaimer:

-Rates are flexible and liable to change based the type of project being commissioned.

-Final price will be determined through a negotiation process.

How music is charged:

-Music is paid for as a fee per minute of music.

-Although rates are flexible, at a bare minimum, $120 per minute of music is the lowest I will go.

-Complexity of song will vary the price.

-An ambient song like Twisted Tour that takes less time to do and has fewer complex elements would usually range from $120-$150 per minute of music

-An orchestral song with 20+ instruments like Mushroom Mine that takes me much longer to complete might cost closer to $300-$400 per minute of music

Other details about price:

-The exact price is determined by the second. For a 1 minute and 50 second piece, if the price was $120 per minute of music, it would come out to be $220. (2 dollars per second, times 110 seconds)

-Any music that I make has a minimum cost of $60. For example, if I charge $120 per minute of music, and I make a 5 second jingle, the song would NOT be 10 dollars. It would cost $60.

Ownership rights:

-Rights to ownership of the music will be determined through negotiation.

-Rights to sole ownership of the song will add an extra 75% to the fee ($120 per minute becomes $210).

-For any music sold separately, such as soundtracks sold on iTunes, etc., how much of the cut I will take in sales will be negotiated.

Other things to note:

-I do not work for exposure. I do expect to be paid.

-During a correspondence, I am happy to answer any questions and discuss any negotiations you might want to have. This is just a general guide.
